Fair Hill is always my favorite event. It’s in the fall, which is my favorite time of year. Plus, it’s lovely in Elkton, Md. I missed the dressage this year for the first time in awhile. I needed the morning off! I walked the cross country with a couple of COTH staff members on Friday evening. Saturday was lovely, but a bit windy. Sharon White had a rotational fall and Jennifer Simmons fell. Her horse had to be put down unfortunately. I saw the fall from the back, as I took a photo of her over the fence before. He looked fine. It was really sickening to watch. I talked to Jennifer this week for COTH.
Show jumping day was uneventful. I helped COTH update their online coverage which was fun. A few of my photos got put in the photo galleries. It’s always fun to watch the press conferences too.
